About the Marley WHB3408FC
The Marley WHB3408FC is a fan-forced electric wall heater from Marley's WHB3000 series for 208-volt single-phase circuits. It delivers 4000 watts. It comes wired for full output, and removing a red jumper converts it in the field to 2000 watts. A rotary thermostat sets the temperature, and turning the knob about 30 degrees past OFF runs the fan alone.
A disconnect switch is mounted in the back box. A manual-reset thermal overheat protector with a red RESET button sits behind the grille. The fan keeps running after shutoff to cool the elements. The heater conforms to UL 2021 and CSA C22.2 No. 46.
The heater is wall-mount only. It can be recessed in new or existing walls, or surface-mounted with a frame.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or servicing the heater. According to the manual, keep at least 8 inches from the floor and adjacent walls, 36 inches from the ceiling, and 3 feet from combustibles at the front. Do not mount it in a ceiling, and do not run it without the grille installed.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
