About the WORKSHOP WS12552A

The WORKSHOP WS12552A is a 1-1/4-inch car detailing kit for wet/dry vacs. It is made for the spots that are hard to reach inside a car, truck or van, such as between and under the seats, along the dashboard and in the air vents.

The kit has four tools. A flexible crevice tool bends to get into tight gaps. A stiff bristle brush works debris loose from carpet and some upholstery. A soft bristle brush dusts the dash, vents and crevices. A claw nozzle digs into carpet for a deeper clean. The tools are 1-1/4 inches in diameter, so check that your vac hose matches.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model! She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare. I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
