About the WORKSHOP WS25020A

The WORKSHOP WS25020A Dual-Flex Locking Hose is a 7-foot, 2-1/2-inch wet/dry vac hose. Its Dual-Flex construction is designed to resist crushing and kinking, and both ends can flex through 180 degrees for easier handling.

A locking tab holds the hose firmly in the vac so it does not pull out while you work. The wide bore passes large debris and keeps airflow high. WORKSHOP offers Dual-Flex construction only in its 2-1/2-inch hoses.

I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model! She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare. I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
