About the Marley WH3150FC
The Marley WH3150FC is a heavy-duty architectural fan-forced wall heater from Marley's WH series. It runs on 120 volts, single phase, and puts out 1500 watts. A built-in thermostat cycles the heating element. A fan delay control keeps the fan running for a short time after the element shuts off to clear leftover heat.
The back box contains a Power ON/OFF switch. A manual-reset thermal limit shuts the unit down if it overheats. The unit is listed to UL 2021 and CSA C22.2 No. 46.
The heater mounts only on a wall, and it blows warm air downward. You can recess it between 16-inch on-center studs in new construction or into an existing wall, or surface-mount it with an optional frame. Do not use a remote thermostat with this heater.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or servicing the heater. According to the manual, keep at least 8 inches from the bottom of the heater to the floor and from the sides to adjacent walls, at least 36 inches from the top to the ceiling (recommended), and keep combustibles at least 3 feet from the front. Do not run the heater without the grille installed.
