About the Marley S1504TCNW
The Marley S1504TCNW is a 240-volt (also rated for 208 volts) fan-forced toe space heater made to install in the toe space below cabinets. We list it at 1500 watts; removing a red jumper wire drops it to a lower output setting.
It has a built-in single-pole thermostat, front and rear coil heating elements and a fan delay motor. An over-temperature safety control lights a red alarm lamp visible through the grille, and a one-shot thermal fuse permanently shuts the heater off if that control ever fails. It can also be wired to a remote single-pole wall thermostat instead.
The heater mounts horizontally in a 14-1/4 by 3-5/8 inch wall opening and must be installed with its back box and grille in place.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or servicing. Install the heater horizontally only, with the wall opening's bottom edge about 1/4 inch above the finished floor. Secure the grille and heater with two No. 6 x 3/4 inch screws in 0.093 inch pilot holes, use supply wire rated at least 60°C, and ground the heater. Confirm the supply voltage matches the nameplate before turning it on, and never run it without the grille.
