About the Marley S1500A
The Marley S1500A is a 120-volt fan-forced toe space heater made to install in the toe space below cabinets. We list it at 1500 watts; removing a red jumper wire drops it to a lower output setting.
Inside are front and rear coil heating elements and a fan delay motor. An automatic-reset limit control with an indicator light guards against overheating, and a thermal fuse acts as a backup safety device.
The heater mounts horizontally in a 14-1/4 by 3-5/8 inch wall opening and must be installed with its back box and grille in place.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or servicing. Install the heater horizontally only, with the wall opening's bottom edge about 1/4 inch above the finished floor. Secure the grille and heater with two No. 6 x 3/4 inch screws in 0.093 inch pilot holes, use supply wire rated at least 60°C, and ground the heater. Confirm the supply voltage matches the nameplate before turning it on, and never run it without the grille.
