About the Marley 5814-0003-001
The 5814-0003-001 is an original-equipment control transformer for Marley, Qmark and Berko electric heaters. It takes a 277-volt supply on the primary side and steps it down to 24 volts on the secondary.
Marley sells versions of this transformer for other supply voltages under nearby numbers: 5814-0003-000 for 208/240V primary and 5814-0003-002 for 480V primary, both with 24V secondaries. Match the primary voltage to your heater's supply and check your model against the compatible-models list on this page.
Installation Tips
Turn off power to the heater at the breaker before servicing. Label the wires before removing the old transformer.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was sooo impressed! I have a ceiling fan that has up and downward lights, too. After 20 years, the remote wore out. I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
