About the Marley 9F2900-01
This is the factory J hook kit for Marley, Qmark and Berko commercial ceiling fans. Each fan uses one J hook, which is part of the fan's ceiling-mount hardware.
The factory manual calls for a support beam that can carry a 50 lb load wherever the fan is mounted. The fan's separate safety cable needs its own structural member, rated for 300 lbs.

Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before you start. The manual offers two mounting methods. With a wood-thread hook, drive at least 1-1/2 in. of thread into a structural wood joist; if you drill a pilot hole, keep it no wider than the minor diameter of the hook's threads. With a threaded bolt hook, tighten it securely using the lockwashers and nuts supplied. Don't lubricate the hook. When you hang the fan, the safety cable at the top of the downrod belongs behind the J hook, as the manual's figure shows.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
