About the Marley CDFTR4
The CDFTR4 is a transformer relay option for Marley and Qmark commercial downflow ceiling heaters. It combines a transformer with a 208/240V primary and 24V secondary, plus a control relay with a 24V holding coil.
It is a unit-mounted, single-phase, 60 Hz kit, UL and cUL listed. For 277V heaters the matching kit is the CDFTR7.
Per the manufacturer, the heater's optional power relays or built-in thermostat cannot be used together with the transformer relay option. Check your heater against the compatible-models list on this page.
Installation Tips
Turn off power to the heater at the breaker before installing. The manufacturer notes this option cannot be combined with the heater's optional power relays or integral thermostat.

No. Marley says that if you choose the transformer relay, you can't also use the heater's optional power relays or its built-in thermostat.
Is there a version for 277V heaters?
Yes. The 277V transformer relay is part number CDFTR7; the CDFTR4 is for 208/240V.
