About the Marley R2404T2FC
The Marley R2404T2FC is a register-style fan-forced electric wall heater for 240V circuits. Its wattage can be set to 2400, 1800, 1200 or 600 watts, and on a 208V supply it runs at 75% of the rated wattage.
It comes as a complete assembly with grille, back box and a built-in double-pole thermostat that adjusts from 40 to 85°F. A plug button can replace the thermostat knob to make it tamper resistant. A quiet tangential blower driven by a permanently lubricated, impedance-protected motor moves about 50 CFM across non-glowing steel-sheathed elements with copper-brazed fins.
A manual-reset thermal cutout shuts off heat if the unit overheats. The galvanized steel back box recesses into masonry or frame walls, and a surface mounting frame is available separately.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before any installation or service work.
Per the manufacturer, mount on a wall only, with the back box at least 4 inches from the floor, 6 inches from adjacent walls and 36 inches from the ceiling, and keep furniture and other objects at least 5 feet from the front of the heater.
