About the Marley R1500T2FC
The R1500T2FC is a recessed fan-forced electric wall heater from Marley's RT2 series. RT2 models have a thermostat built into the heater, so no separate wall thermostat is needed. It runs on 120V and ships set to its full 1500 watts.
Output can be lowered on site by clipping jumpers on the Clip 'n' Fit circuit board, giving 1500, 1125, 750 or 375 watts. An automatic-reset limit control shuts the heater off if it overheats, and a red warning light stays on until it resets.
The heater fits into a back box in a 2x4 or larger stud wall and must be mounted horizontally, with the motor and thermostat on the right side. It works in new or existing construction.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before working. Mount horizontally with the motor and thermostat on the right; do not install sideways or upside down. The manual calls for clearances of 4 in from the floor, 6 in from an adjacent wall and 36 in from the ceiling, with power entering through the right-end knockouts only. Use building wire rated at least 60°C. In existing walls the cutout is 14-1/2 in wide by 6-3/4 in high, with the bottom at least 4 in above the finished floor.

How do I lower the wattage?
It ships at 1500 watts. Clip out one or both jumpers on the Clip 'n' Fit circuit board, cutting close to the board and following the manual's chart, to step down to 1125, 750 or 375 watts.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
