About the Marley FRA3027B
The FRA3027B is a commercial fan-forced wall heater that can be recessed into the wall or surface mounted. This model runs on 277V single-phase and ships wired for 3000 watts, with the option to field-convert it to 1500 watts.
A five-blade aluminum fan moves about 100 CFM across a non-glowing element made of nickel-chrome resistance wire sealed in a steel sheath with copper-brazed fins. A fan delay keeps the fan off until the element warms up and runs it until the remaining heat is pushed out, and a thermal cutout shuts the heat off if the unit overheats.
The built-in thermostat adjusts from 40 to 90°F, and the louvered 20-gauge steel front cover uses a plug button in place of a knob to discourage tampering. A double-pole on/off switch sits behind the cover. The galvanized steel back box can be recessed in the wall, or surface mounted with an optional frame.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before working on the heater. When wall mounting, keep the back box at least 8 in. from the floor or any adjacent wall. Do not install it behind a towel rack or door, in a floor, ceiling or closet, or anywhere airflow could be blocked. An optional surface mounting frame is available for surface installation.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
