About the Marley D1024C
The Marley D1024C is a D Series fan-forced electric wall heater rated 1000W at 240V (750W at 208V). When the heater runs, a fan moves warm air out through the discharge grille.
The heater recesses into the wall using the D-BB back box, or it can be surface mounted with the DSMK surface mount frame. It has a built-in thermostat with a tamper-resistant plug button, and an automatic-reset limit control shuts the heater off if it overheats, with an indicator light to show it has tripped.
Units rated 1000 watts or less, like this one, can also be recessed into a ceiling in any orientation; a ceiling unit can be run from a remote line-voltage wall thermostat.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or servicing. The back box needs a 9-1/8" wide by 12-5/8" high opening. On a wall, keep the heater at least 4.5" from the floor and adjacent surfaces and 12" from the ceiling. In a ceiling, keep it 12" from an adjacent wall.
