About the Marley UH3060
The Marley UH3060 is a 30 kW electric unit heater from the UH Series, producing 102,390 BTU per hour on a 600V supply. A built-in fan pushes warm air through a louvered front, and one unit can heat a small area while larger areas use several heaters.
When the thermostat calls for heat, the fan waits briefly until the element has warmed up. The heater has one or more thermal safety cutouts. Adjustable louvers let you aim the airflow, including sharply downward toward the floor.
It hangs from a 1/2"-13 threaded mounting hole on top of the cabinet, and optional wall brackets are available. A single-pole thermostat kit and disconnect switch kits can be added in the field. Call us with your requirements if you are not sure this voltage and phase match your building supply.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker or disconnect before any installation or service work. Mount the heater out of people's reach, and aim the airflow parallel to or away from nearby walls. On this size, the heating element and fan motor are reached by opening the control box cover and removing the two screws at the bottom of a side panel, then lifting the panel off. Follow the UH Series installation manual and local electrical codes.

Why doesn't the fan start right away?
When the thermostat calls for heat, the fan is delayed for a moment until the heating element is warm. This is normal operation.
