About the Marley UH1020
The Marley UH1020 is an electric unit heater from the UH Series, rated 10 kW (34,130 BTU/hr) at 208V, single-phase as shipped, field-convertible to three-phase. It mounts up high and blows warm air across the space; one unit can heat a small area, while larger areas call for several.
Every model has an automatic fan delay, so the fan starts once the element warms up and keeps running until it cools. Thermal safety cutouts shut the heater off if it overheats and reset automatically. The heater can be rotated and its louvers adjusted to aim warm air where it is needed. A threaded 1/2"-13 hole on top lets it hang from a rod, and optional wall, ceiling and combination mounting kits are available.
An optional TA-1 thermostat kit (60–120°F) can be installed in the field. This heater is not for hazardous locations.
Installation Tips
Disconnect power at the service panel before installing or servicing. Hang the heater from the 1/2"-13 threaded hole on top with at least 10 in. of clearance from the ceiling, or use an optional mounting kit such as the CWB-1 (2.5–15 kW). Keep the clearances listed in the manual and aim the airflow parallel to or away from nearby walls.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
