About the Marley S1500TC
The S1500TC is a fan-forced electric toe space heater with a built-in thermostat. It runs on 120V at 1500 watts on high, and removing a red jumper sets it to a 750-watt low setting. It must be installed horizontally and can be recessed or surface-mounted using its back box, with a front grille.
The built-in single-pole thermostat is set with a knob. A wall thermostat can be used instead, but only one of its poles may switch, and that pole must control the heating element, not the motor. Switching both supply leads with a wall thermostat would defeat the fan delay and can cause overheating.
Safety features include an over-temperature control with a red alarm light and a one-time backup thermal fuse. It is not for outdoor, damp or wet locations, or for vinyl or vinyl-coated cabinets.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before working. Install horizontally only. The manual calls for clearances of 1/4 in from the floor, 12 in from adjacent side walls and 36 in from the ceiling, with combustibles kept at least 3 feet from the front. The wall cutout is 14-1/4 in by 3-5/8 in. Use building wire rated at least 60°C, connect the black and white leads plus ground, and do not let the thermostat cycle the motor supply.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
