About the Marley PLF1004DA
The PLF1004DA is an electric baseboard heater from Marley's PLF hydronic line. Its heating element sits partly submerged in an inert heat-transfer fluid inside a copper tube, with large aluminum fins that pass heat to the room by convection. The fluid holds heat, so the unit keeps warming the room for a while after the thermostat shuts it off.
On a 240V circuit it is rated 1000 watts (3413 BTU/hr); on 208V it delivers 750 watts. The cabinet has a steel louvered grille, a textured powder-coat finish, a built-in wireway, and a wiring compartment at each end, so supply power can come in from either side. It mounts flush to the wall and can sit over wood, tile or carpet.
Baseboard heaters must run on a thermostat. You can add a unit-mounted thermostat or use a wall thermostat.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before wiring. Supply voltage must match the voltage on the heater's nameplate, and the manufacturer calls for supply wire rated 90°C. Power can be connected at either end of the heater.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
