About the Marley FFCH542
The FFCH542 is the heater section for an FFCH Series commercial downflow ceiling heater. It delivers 4 kW at 240 volts and is designed to heat large areas from the ceiling. It ships wired for full output and can be field converted to 3 or 2 kW.
The 20-gauge steel chassis carries the heating elements, fan motor and blade, a snap-action fan control, an automatic-reset thermal cutout and a 3-pole contactor. The non-glowing elements use nickel-chrome wire in a steel sheath with brazed steel fins. The fan starts right away and keeps running after the thermostat is satisfied until warm air is cleared.
Note: this is the heater section only. A surface enclosure (FFCHSE) or recess enclosure (FFCHRE) is needed to mount it, and is sold separately.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing. The heater section mounts in a surface or recess enclosure on masonry, T-bar or frame ceilings. Keep at least 12 inches of clearance from walls. Field wiring must be at least #10 AWG rated for at least 90°C.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
