About the Marley CDF548
The CDF548 is the heater section of a fan-forced electric ceiling heater, rated 4 kW at 208V. It must be paired with a recessed or surface-mount enclosure, sold separately.
The 20-gauge steel chassis comes prewired with non-glowing finned steel-sheathed elements, a fan motor and blade, a fan control, an automatic-reset thermal cutout and a 3-pole contactor. Moving 300 CFM of air, it is set at the factory for full wattage, and removing wires reduces output to 75% or 50% (4 / 3 / 2 kW). It ships wired for single-phase power and converts to three-phase by removing one jumper.
Optional accessories include a built-in thermostat, a 3-pole disconnect and a 24V transformer and control relay (which can't be combined with the integral thermostat or power relays).
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing. Field wiring must be #10 AWG minimum, rated at least 90°C. Keep at least 12 inches of clearance from walls.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was sooo impressed! I have a ceiling fan that has up and downward lights, too. After 20 years, the remote wore out. I looked on-line and couldn't see where I could buy the same thing, since so many years. I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
