About the Marley 1215-2059-001

The Marley 1215-2059-001 is a louver guide for the surface mounting enclosure (SEA) used with Marley, Qmark and Berko fan-forced ceiling heaters.

The heater uses two louver guides. Each one fits over a discharge grille, and the assembly slides into the enclosure opening, where the bottom of the guide locks in place. Once locked in, the guides cannot slide out during use.

Two are required per heater. Check the compatible-models list on this page before ordering.

Installation Tips

Turn off power to the heater at the breaker first. According to the manufacturer's manual, fit the two louver guides over the two discharge grilles, then slide the assembly into the enclosure opening so the bottom of each guide drops and locks into place. Make sure both guides are seated so they can't slide out during use.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model! She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare. I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business.
