About the Marley D507A
The Marley D507A is a 28" commercial-grade electric baseboard heater rated 500W on a 277V supply. It belongs to Marley's D Series of commercial baseboard heaters, which mount along a wall.
D Series heaters accept optional add-ons. A single-pole or double-pole thermostat assembly (T1 or T2, with tamperproof versions available) attaches in place of the junction box end cap at whichever end the power comes in. Separate wiring sections are also offered, including an air conditioner outlet, a duplex receptacle, a two-pole on/off switch and a low-voltage relay with transformer.
Make sure the supply voltage matches the 277V rating on the heater's nameplate before ordering.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the main panel before installing or servicing. The supply voltage must match the voltage on the heater's nameplate.

Can a thermostat be added to this heater?
Yes, though D Series thermostats mount on the heater itself rather than on the wall. The T1 (single-pole) and T2 (double-pole) thermostat assemblies, rated 25A at 120–277V, go on the heater's end in place of the junction box cap. The combined amperage of all heaters on one thermostat can't exceed 25A.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
