About the Marley 2546NWCS
The Marley 2546NWCS is a 6-foot (72") convection baseboard heater from the 2500 Series, listed for wall installation at floor level. It produces 1,500 watts on a 240-volt circuit and 1,128 watts if connected to 208 volts.
Heat comes from a nickel-chromium element sealed in a steel sheath with pressure-bonded aluminum fins. A factory-installed linear thermal cutout switches it off if it overheats and resets on its own once temperatures return to normal. The steel body carries a White textured polyester powder-coat finish, and the junction boxes include cable clamps and a ground pigtail.
Thermostats, filler sections, blank sections and corner pieces are sold separately as 2500 Series accessories. The unit stands 6-3/4 inches tall and 2-7/8 inches deep.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before wiring. The 2500 Series accepts supply conductors with 60°C insulation and has 7/8-inch knockouts for 1/2-inch conduit. Follow local electrical codes.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
