About the Marley 2506W
The Marley 2506W is a 6-foot electric baseboard heater from the 2500 Series, rated 1,500W at 208V single-phase.
The heating element uses 80/20 nickel-chromium wire inside a steel sheath, with aluminum fins pressure-bonded to the sheath. A factory-installed linear thermal cutout switches the heater off if it overheats and lets it resume once temperatures drop back to normal. The steel body has a textured polyester powder-coat finish in Navajo White.
Each junction box has a cable clamp and a ground wire pigtail, and the unit is designed for continuous operation. Thermostats, power switches, relays and other add-on controls for this series are sold separately.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before installing or wiring this heater. Wiring knockouts are 7/8 in. diameter for 1/2 in. conduit.
