About the InSinkErator CCPA-00
The CCPA-00 Cover Control Plus Adapter (InSinkErator part 77536) adds a magnetic cover to a compatible InSinkErator disposer. A 90-degree turn of the magnetic cover starts the disposer.
The disposer won't start unless the magnetic cover is in place, which gives it batch-feed style safety. The adapter has a 24-inch cord.
Check your disposer model against the compatible-models list on this page before ordering.
Installation Tips
Turn off power to the disposer at the breaker or unplug it before you install the adapter.
