About the InSinkErator 14497

The InSinkErator 14497 is a 460 volt solenoid valve for commercial disposer installations. It is the water valve that feeds the disposer's grinding chamber.

The valve opens when the disposer is switched on, so water flows into the grind chamber while the unit is running. It is the 460 volt counterpart to the 208-240 volt valve, part 14496, so confirm your supply voltage before ordering.
