About the InSinkErator 13763A

The InSinkErator 13763A is a 1/2 in. flow control valve rated at 3 gallons per minute. It goes in the water supply line feeding a commercial food waste disposer. It sends the right amount of water to the disposer for smooth operation and keeps water use from running too high.

The valve has an arrow showing the flow direction, and its GPM rating is marked on the part. InSinkErator's sizing chart lists 3 GPM as the standard valve for its 1/2 and 3/4 HP commercial disposers, and as an optional low-water choice for its 1 and 1-1/4 HP units.

Installation Tips

Shut off the water supply and disconnect power to the disposer before servicing. Install the valve with the flow arrow pointing in the direction of water flow.
