About the Marley F2QT10208
This is a single quartz tube heating element rated at 1000 watts at 208 volts. It is the replacement element for the 24-inch size of Marley / Qmark radiant infrared heaters that are set up for quartz tube elements.
Quartz tube elements come on and shut off almost instantly, so they suit spots that need heat right away. The element draws a maximum of about 4.8 amps. Sold individually, so order one for each element position you are replacing.
Match the voltage and wattage to the rating plate on your heater, and check your heater against the compatible-models list on this page before ordering.
Installation Tips
Disconnect all power at the main service panel before opening the heater. Per the manufacturer's manual, remove the terminal covers, loosen the #10 hex nut on each terminal and fit the element leads, then reinstall the covers. Do not handle the quartz tube with bare hands, and confirm the supply voltage matches the heater's rating plate before turning power back on.

Can I touch the quartz tube with bare hands when installing it?
No. The manufacturer's manual says not to handle quartz tubes with bare hands, because salt from skin can deteriorate the quartz.
Is there a 240-volt version of this element?
Yes. The same 1000W, 24-inch quartz tube is offered in 240V as part F2QT10240. Use the voltage shown on your heater's rating plate.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
