About the Marley WHB1101FC
The Marley WHB1101FC is a compact fan-forced electric heater from Marley's WHB1000 series. It runs on 120 volts and is rated 1000 watts (3,413 BTU/hr). Removing a red jumper wire drops it to 500 watts. A built-in rotary thermostat cycles the heating element. The fan turns on and off on its own and keeps running after the element stops to remove leftover heat.
Safety features include an over-temperature control with a manual reset button behind the grille and a red alarm light, plus a backup one-shot thermal fuse. The heater recesses into a 2x4 stud wall using the supplied back box. Optional kits allow surface or semi-recessed mounting. It is the only model in its series that may be mounted in a ceiling.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the main service panel before installing or servicing. According to the manual, wall-mounting clearances are at least 4 inches from the bottom to the floor, 4-1/2 inches from the sides to adjacent walls, and 12 inches from the top to the ceiling (36 inches recommended). Keep furniture and curtains at least 3 feet from the front. Do not run the heater while the red alarm light is on or without the grille installed.

She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
