About the Marley RK42024A
The Marley RK42024A is a 46-inch single-element quartz infrared radiant heater rated 2000 watts at 240V, single phase.
A quartz tube element with a heavy-duty coil sits in front of a one-piece, snap-out gold anodized aluminum reflector that spreads heat in a 60-degree symmetrical pattern. The housing is 20-gauge cold-rolled steel with a polyester powder-paint finish, and the single-piece design lets one person install and wire it.
It is intended for horizontal indoor mounting and is not meant for hazardous locations or highly corrosive areas such as pools, greenhouses or chemical storage.

How much clearance does it need?
The manufacturer calls for 12 inches to side walls, 3 inches to the ceiling, 8 feet to the floor, 36 inches between side-by-side heaters, and at least 5 feet between the bottom of the heater and combustible material in its radiant path.

Yes. An optional wire guard made for the 46-inch size is sold separately.

My Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser arrived on time, and as described. I had found for a few dollars less on Ebay but had less confidence in the supplier. I am happy with my purchase as it was easily installed in about ten minutes as replacement for the old one. Be sure and note that this unit is for the heater ONLY, no additional hardware, hoses, dispenser, etc. It was what I needed; be sure that is all you need.

I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)

Service was outstanding. The only issue was the failure of USPS to deliver the product within the originally stated time window of Oct 31 or Nov 1. It arrived Nov 6 or 7. Perhaps an Amazon delivery would be better for your customers.

I was sooo impressed! I have a ceiling fan that has up and downward lights, too. After 20 years, the remote wore out. I looked on-line and couldn't see where I could buy the same thing, since so many years. I was slightly disappointed when I ordered the right part for my discontinued Craftsman shop vac. I ordered a replacement blower wheel that actually fits a Rigid. The problem was the one sent was only a 1/4" between the impeller and my original wheel was 3/8". Good news is the Representative found the correct wheel. Back in business. I however, had to pay for return shipping.
