About the Marley FHP1500TA
The FHP1500TA is a 120-volt, 1500-watt plug-in portable heater that works like a hydronic baseboard. Its element sits in a large reservoir of heat-storage fluid, so it keeps giving off gentle warmth even after the thermostat cycles off. It heats by convection, with very little air movement.
An automatic thermostat holds the room at your chosen comfort level, making it handy for bedrooms, living rooms, basements, offices and waiting rooms. The body combines high-impact Lexan with steel to resist dents, scratches and rust, and a tuck-away handle makes it easy to carry.
For safety, a linear high-temperature cutout shuts the heater off if airflow is blocked, a tip-over switch stops it if it is knocked over, and welded steel louvered grilles help keep objects out.
