About the Marley PRH11543240000
The Marley PRH1154324 is a 15 kW PRH-series electric plenum heater built for 480V three-phase power. It is approved for installation in hidden spaces, such as above a drop ceiling below a finished ceiling, or inside a plenum.
The heater uses steel finned heating elements, a thermally protected, permanently lubricated sealed motor and a single high fan speed (low speed is not offered at 480V). It is controlled by a 24 VAC thermostat, with fan-on and fan-off delays of up to 60 seconds, and ships with a factory disconnect switch.
It can blow freely into the space or connect to ductwork, and it is rated for 0" clearances. The unit mounts suspended in a horizontal position and must be independently supported.
Installation Tips
Turn off power at the breaker before any wiring. Mount the heater suspended in the horizontal position with independent support; it cannot be mounted vertically. Wire to the line side of the factory disconnect using copper conductors rated at 125% of the nameplate amperage, and confirm supply voltage matches the nameplate. Ductwork must follow NFPA-90B (or the Canadian equivalent). Do not install in corrosive atmospheres or in areas that store or use gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids, and keep access to the control panel clear.
