Carroll Parts – Since 1938
A Manufacturer’s Parts Depot And Technical Support Center.
Carroll Parts today (white building)
First founded in 1938 by Mr. John Carroll, Carroll Appliance Parts and Service Company started in Kansas City, Missouri as a small appliance repair business. It was purchased in 1966 by partners Herman Jenkins and John Casey. It was soon after this acquisition that Carroll began its transition from being a company that only provided repair service, to becoming a provider of both service and parts. The role of parts supplier was solidified in 1973 when the company became the exclusive distributor for InSinkErator Factory Authorized Parts within an 8-state region, which has now increased to serve all 50 states. Since then, Carroll has played an important role in InSinkErator’s warranty procurement process and distribution of products and replacement parts nationwide.
Carroll’s partnership with InSinkErator products prompted their parent company Emerson Electric to begin using Carroll to distribute their products in 1979, bringing Emerson’s “Air Comfort Products” and “Moist Air Products” to Carroll on a national distribution basis. This was followed by Marley Engineered Products and completed the transformation of Carroll to a full-scale appliance and parts distribution company. It was this company that Carroll’s current owners, Mark Casey and Ken Brock acquired from the Casey/Jenkins partnership in January 1987.
In contrast to its origins as an appliance repair service company, today Carroll’s main business focus is parts distribution and warranty procurement. Service is still a primary part of our distribution philosophy and is an integral component of technical support communications with our customers. When you call Carroll Parts, you can rest assured knowing that the sales staff understands the technology behind the products and can guide you in the right direction in your appliance repair or replacement process.
